A student's thoughts

One of my students wrote these very thought-provoking words in her prayer journal and wanted to share them with me. I was so touched, I wanted to pass them along to others!



Isn't it so sad how we, people are sometimes very selfish.



We people who often only think me, me, me.



We people are naturally very selfish.



How often do we thank God out of ten times? Probably 2 or 3. maybe even one!



We people...rarely can at least notice a broken heart not talking not talking about helping one.



We people rarely help a stranger.



We people think, "why should I help him? He doesn't even know me!" But what would we have done if that "he" was the closest one to us. What if the "he" was asking us to at least come and know him. We people said no and nailed him to that cross. But what would we have done if we knew he's our only hope? What? What would we have done? What? What would YOU have done? What?
